You’ve probably heard your favorite celebrity or one of your friends talking about microneedling.
And we don’t blame them.
Microneedling is a minimally-invasive procedure that involves using a small device with superfine micro needles to create thousands of tiny, controlled micro-injuries in the outer and middle layers of the skin.
These needles go no further than 3mm into the skin.
And since we apply a topical numbing cream, most patients don’t experience any pain.
What they do experience, however, could be life-changing.
That’s because these microscopic wounds help trigger the body's natural wound healing process by sending collagen and elastin — two nutrients the skin depends on — to the site of each micro-injury.
This process can help improve everything from skin texture to scarring, wrinkles and overall appearance.
The injuries can also act as micro-channels to help guide nutrients deep into the skin for better absorption and, therefore, better results. That’s why you’ll often see microneedling combined with other treatments.
Not all microneedling devices and machines are created equal — and choosing the right one is vital.

But what makes these two Brentwood-approved treatments so unique?
